I have to say I’m somewhat shocked to learn just a few minutes ago that leading Sage Partner Blytheco has apparently acquired the North American division of Sage PLC.
There were few details announced but the acquisition comes less than 24 hours after new CEO Pascal Houillon took over for retiring CEO Sue Swenson. Navigating to the Sage site it appears the company’s organization chart (screen capture) has already been updated withBlytheco President Stephen Blythe assuming the CEO position and remaining Blytheco executives appearing to replace the Sage North America team.
Surprising this seems to have happened a mere day after it was announced that Pascal Houillon had assumed the post. I’ve a call into my contacts at Sage PR. More details as they become available. Full press release after the break.
