Paul Walker To Lead Jobs Creation Effort

Paul Walker spent 16 years leading Sage in the UK and now he’s been appointed the first interim chairman of the North East’s newest Local Enterprise Partnership.

The partnership that Paul Walker joins is tasked with job creation and is the fourth largest in the country.

We have fantastic opportunities building upon our industrial heritage to attract and develop more manufacturing investment, particularly focused on the low carbon agenda, as well as utilising the skills and innovation from our Universities to create exciting new high growth businesses. This partnership aims to drive forward the growth of the north of the region and to provide a voice for the North East in central government
