Sage SalesLogix OnTheGo is a new mobile application available for Sage SalesLogix 7.52 CRM. Versions are available for iPhone and Android with a BlackBerry version being planned for initial release within the next few months.
The initial release allows for read-only access. The creator of the application, Sage partner Net@Work, says that initially they wanted to secure end user input prior to adding the ability to modify records. Seems like a fair enough proposition since the initial release is free. A feedback function within the application allows users to make suggestions for future enhancements.
According to the company when this application is fully developed there will be three versions: OnTheGo, OnTheGo Plus and OnTheGo Platinum.
